About Vedika
Hi guys! I am Vedika – your host and curator at Footloose!
I absolutely love travelling! An absolute sucker for any adventure I live for the times I can jump into the ocean or chase that gorgeous sunrise and sunset, never letting go of hiking that extra mile for the incredible views (and that Instagram worthy picture) or that hidden gem! On holidays I am always the first one up practicing my yoga in beautiful settings, soaking in everything I can. I am a big (vegetarian!) foodie and enjoy trying the local cuisine (ok, most of the times! Heh!). My favourite way of exploring a country is by driving around and staying at boutique places. My favourite holiday? Has to be my month-long road trip to New Zealand in their winters! Yes I am a snow baby!
So, I’ve been fortunate enough to travel extensively in the last 15 years to over 30 countries witnessing different life enriching experiences and moments! From chasing the Northern Lights in Lapland to glamping in the Sahara, trekking the Table Mountain in Cape Town to pampering myself at the Dead Sea, exploring history galore in Cairo to living up to the urban escapes in Rome, skiing in the Dolomites to scuba diving in Mexico, I’ve been crafting lifetime memories for myself and my loved ones and its been a treasure!
Fast forward to today and what started as a small hobby a couple of years ago has pushed its way to becoming one of my biggest passion projects. Am hosting multiple group trips and curating personal holidays based on my personal experiences and learnings to give you the most authentic travel experience, because I truly live for the experiences that makes my heart smile and skip a beat and id wish the same for you!
